BITES

Biological Testicular Stimulation hcPRP/BRF (BITES) refers to the use of biological therapies to enhance spermatogenesis as well as hormonal function of testicles.

The main indication for these procedures is the failure of the function of the testicles. This technology is aimed to correct not only the number of spermatozoa but also their quality. The problem of cell quality is manifested by the appearance, function and capacity to fertilize the egg and produce good good-quality embryos.
In stimulating protocols, in addition to injecting hcPRP and BRF, follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) is used, and sometimes small doses of human choriogonadotropic hormone (hCG). These products play an important role in intercellular communication and modulation of the immune response, thus contributing to the regenerative effect, improving testicular function and regulating hormonal status.

Phases:

  1. Blood collection from the vein

  2. Preparation of hcPRP and BRF in a closed automated system

  3. Preparation of thrombin activator

  4. Intra-ovarian application of the prepared substrate

Levels:

  • BITES basic – Intra-testicular application of prepared autologous activated hcPRP, FSH,

    FSH/LH, GH and hCG,

  • BITES advanced - Intra-testicular application of prepared autologous activated BRF,

hcPRP, FSH, FSH/LH, GH and hCG.

The described treatment represents a unique combination of biological therapies and IVF techniques and significantly increases the possibility of obtaining quality cells, which is one of the most important prerequisites for successful fertilization and pregnancy. This procedure is carried out under conditions of analgo-sedation, under the control of ultrasound. The intervention is typically performed under analgo-sedation, as a day procedure.
